Wood Group Mustang (WGM) was given a contract worth millions to provide services to South Atlantic Holding (owned by Statoil and partner Sinochem) for the Peregrino field development offshore Brazil. Finishing work for Kiewit Offshore Services (KOS), they previously completed platforms A and B, and will now finish up engineering and design for platform C.
CEO of Wood Group, Michele McNichol, said: “Wood Group Mustang’s proven ability to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions was a key enabler to obtaining the contract.” This contract boosts Wood Group’s portfolio of services given to Statoil, as the two recently signed an agreement to support Statoil’s facilities both on and offshore.
WGM currently services four of their installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). Wood Group PSN is also supporting this current endeavor with existing platforms services, as well as modification services for production storage and offloading facility.
